During my stay at the Almira Shipyard in Agioi Theodori, I needed to carry out general maintenance on the Perkins engine installed on my Oceanis. I had the pleasure of meeting a mechanic recommended to me by the Shipyard Manager. This young man, named Ioannis, proved to be competent, polite, and reasonably priced. I am pleased to recommend him with confidence.

Almira Shipyard is good value but the principal reason for using the yard is Giannis Stamitiou and his Canal Yachting company. Gianni is an excellent communicator with good English, he quickly understood our requirements, provided accurate estimates of the likely cost, and carried out the work promptly to my entire satisfaction while providing photographs of the work as it progressed. For the record the work carried out included renewing the hall coppercoat, replacing the hull anodes, removing, renewing the aluminium surrounds and remounting the saloon window
